Chart Integration:
The first step in developing an allocation is to have the ability to integrate your Orifice Meter Charts and determine the gas volume.
Field Allocation:
In order to determine if there is a lost volume between the well charts and pay meter or meters, a comparison and allocation is done between all the meters on that particular system. iii.
Pay Meter Allocation:
It is important to verify the volumes that the utilities or purchaser of your gas is paying. If you own the gas that is being sold, it’s not a big deal, however if it is a 3rd party buying the gas, it’s imperative to be certain that proper volume calculations are done.
